Abraham Gomez is a Senior Research Analyst at BW Research’s Wrentham office, bringing extensive expertise in survey design, data management, and analysis. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Business Administration from Framingham State University.

In his current role at BW, Abraham oversees the survey components of various projects, leading the process from initial questionnaire development through to survey programming, fielding, and running toplines and extrapolations. He manages datasets of substantial size and complexity, including the United States Energy and Employment Report (USEER) national survey data. Abraham has designed, programmed, and fielded hundreds of surveys for a variety of respondents, including employers, training providers, residents, and workers.

Abraham’s expertise extends beyond survey research to secondary data analysis and a thorough understanding of energy technologies, jobs, industries, and value chains. His notable contributions at BW Research include projects such as the Clean Air Task Force Climate Equity Initiative, where he analyzed extensive survey data and produced meaningful topline analyses, conducted executive interviews with community stakeholders in both English and Spanish, and performed secondary data analysis to support the compilation of the final report. Additionally, his survey analysis of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) repeal impact study has significantly influenced policymakers, enabling them to make informed, evidence-based decisions informed by BW’s comprehensive research into the benefits of IRA investments for employers and workers, as well as the potential consequences of repealing these benefits. He has also significantly contributed to the pioneering and continuous improvement of USEER data management throughout the project’s lifespan.

Passionate about research that promotes economic inclusivity, workforce equity, and accessibility to clean technologies, Abraham proudly embraces his identity as a “data enthusiast” committed to impactful and meaningful work. When he is not working, Abraham can be found in a boxing gym, spending time with his family and dogs, or at a Boston Celtics game.
