Mitch Schirch
Research DirectorMitch Schirch has conducted research out of the BW Research's East Coast office for over 2 years. He strives to use empirical evidence to support underserved populations and fight climate change. This manifests in focused work on clean energy, workforce equity, and just transitions in the future world of work.
At BW Research, Mitch works to develop accurate economic models and new frameworks for estimating employment trends. He also supports the BW Research team through data management, analysis, and interpretations. Mitch received his bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Providence College in Providence, RI, where he conducted an independent research project on the impacts of previously incarcerated individuals re-entering the RI housing market. Outside of work, Mitch likes to spend time hiking, camping, painting, and brewing.
