Robert is a Research Analyst at BW Research’s Massachusetts office, with a focus on energy economics and workforce development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wheaton College (MA) and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, where he specialized in Energy Policy and graduated with highest distinction. This strong academic foundation supports his analytical expertise and his commitment to advancing equitable clean energy transitions across the country.

During his graduate studies at Carnegie Mellon, Robert completed a synthesis research project with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), combining local policy research, program evaluation, and a custom cost-benefit analysis model to assess the cost-effectiveness of the agency’s conservation investments.

Prior to joining BW, Robert worked in the Town of Lexington, Massachusetts, Department of Public Works, where he researched successful composting and waste management models and aligned local policies with statewide incentive structures to increase the town’s access to funding. He also advocated for stronger household sustainability practices throughout the community. This experience gave him a firsthand understanding of how environmental and energy policy shapes—and is shaped by—the communities it serves.

In his role at BW, Robert leverages his skills in policy research, secondary data analysis, and workforce development to transform complex data into actionable insights. He has contributed to major state and regional initiatives and is dedicated to research that expands opportunity and drives meaningful, equitable progress.
