As an Associate Project Manager at BW Research’s Massachusetts office, Sophia brings extensive expertise in research, economic analysis, and project management to her role. She conducts primary and secondary data analyses, integrating data with stakeholder engagement. She is a LUMA-Certified Human Centered Design Practitioner with proven experience leading stakeholder workshops to develop insights and inform strategic decision-making. She excels in synthesizing research findings to address the unique needs of each client.

With a passion for advancing community and economic development worldwide, Sophia has managed several high-impact projects at BW. She led the firm’s international initiatives with the U.S. Department of State and the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), providing technical assistance on energy jobs studies for foreign governments. She also oversees the development of clean energy industry reports for numerous state governments, contributing to policy and economic development in the renewable energy sector.

Sophia holds a Master of Public Affairs from Brown University and a B.A. in Mathematics with a minor in Global Studies from Drexel University. Before working at BW Research, Sophia gained professional experience in data analysis and finance. Outside of work, Sophia loves to travel, train in martial arts, and try new recipes.
