Holding a Master’s in Data Analytics in Finance and a graduate certificate in Business Analytics from Western Michigan University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Data Science from George Washington University, Tom possesses a strong research foundation that fuels his analytical expertise.
At BW, Tom has played an important role in various impactful projects, including the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) Supply Chain Jobs Study and modeling the City of Irvine’s economy through possible industry growth scenarios. His responsibilities involve supporting economic modeling efforts and transforming complex data into actionable insights. Tom also excels in creating interactive graphics and visuals that enhance the clarity and accessibility of data. He supported an energy staffing patterns project for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), where he processed data to create staffing patterns for the analysis of clean energy careers across the U.S.
With expertise in numerous software tools and modeling programs, Tom combines technical skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.
