Evan is a Senior Research Analyst at BW with expertise in economic development and quantitative analysis. He received his bachelor’s degree in Economics with a concentration in Quantitative Analysis from San Diego State University, where he conducted research on public health policy and labor economics. He brings valuable research experience from the Center of Health Economics and Policy Studies (CHEPS) at San Diego State University, where his contributions led to several academic publications.
During his time at BW, Evan has played a key role in advancing economic and workforce development initiatives. His contributions include producing various State of the Workforce reports, working on the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) Public Benefits Finance Model, and supporting NYSERDA’s Economic Development Services for Clean Energy Manufacturing. Notably, Evan modeled the effects of a proposed carbon capture program, New York’s Cap-and-Invest Program (NYCI), on employment and wage outcomes.
Evan excels in data collection, management, and statistical analysis, transforming complex datasets into actionable policy recommendations. With extensive experience across a range of quantitative tools, Evan contributes to projects spanning primary and secondary data collection to advanced modeling and analysis.
Additionally, Evan has a keen interest in understanding federal and state funding streams and how policy dynamics shape their allocation and utilization. Beyond his analytical expertise, Evan contributes to BW’s success by developing new business strategies. Outside of the office, Evan enjoys going on hikes, trying new foods, and spending time with his two dogs.
